Free image programs that you must have

Irfanview is the program that I use when I want to open a picture to look at it, re-size it, spin it around, and save it to a different format. It's small and fast and will work with any version of Windows. It does much more than that and can be expanded with plug ins.

Fast Stone Photo Resizer This program can convert for you an entire directory full of picture files to a different size. So all of those 10 megapixel picture files that you want to be put on facebook can get re-sized quickly for your upload. Fastsone also makes a freeware image viewer that looks pretty good.

How about a free professional strength image program like Photoshop? Try Gimp. Gimp works with Windows 2K and above, Unix, Linus, and MAC OSX, Sun, and Free BSD.
